Fruit & apple soda farls
200g plain flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp of bicarbonate of soda
180 ml buttermilk
30g Braeburn apple (grated)
15g mixed dried fruit
Method....
Place dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.followed by grated Apple & fruit ,now slowly add buttermilk but mixing well and quickly.
Place a non-stick pan on a medium heat .now add one large farl on heat but marked with knife a cross shape ,cook for 6 minutes on 1 side now turn cook a further 6 minutes but this time cover with a clean dry tea towel leave to slightly cool before slicing ....
