Lemon & almond shortbread biscuits
140g plain flour
1 tbsp of ground almonds
1/2 lemon(zest)
1 tsp of Poppy seeds
110g butter
40g golden caster sugar
1.in a mixing bowl cream butter & flour until light & fluffy this should take 3 minutes using a machine.
2. Now add sugar,almond,seeds & zest to above mix and bring togheter well ,now rest in fridge for 10 minutes.
3. Roll and cut into triangles and bake for12-15 minutes @180c cool before serving and sprinkle with caster sugar...
